NOTICE – VACANCY
FOR A MULTI SPORT COACH
Chippenham
Sports Club will shortly have a vacancy for a multi sport coach to
manage its new Air Dome on which work is underway at Hardenhuish Park.
The Dome will have a playing surface measuring 38m X 38m, the area of
two tennis courts, and will provide covered facilities for a variety of
sports including netball, basketball, tennis, badminton, indoor
cricket, 5 a side football and similar activities. A prime aim of the
project will be to encourage more people to play sport or to exercise
regularly with particular (but not exclusive) emphasis on youngsters,
men over 40 years of age and women. It will be the manager’s principal
responsibility to develop usage of the Dome in pursuit of that aim.
The job specification and the
proposed terms and conditions are attached. In essence, the successful
applicant will be self employed and awarded a contract to the value of
between £18,000 and £20,000 per annum depending on the
coverage of the role agreed on appointment. There will also be the
opportunity to increase that sum by up to 20% annually through
performance related bonuses.
